My motor racing started in Cadet Kart Racing at 8 years old then progressing through the phenomenally competitive Junior TKM, finishing with one season in 250 Superkart racing. During this time we won three Club Championships, twice voted DKRC Driver Of The Year as well as numerous Club Championship Runner up spots and Race wins.
From 1999-2001 Saw outings in various different cars when the opportunity arose with assistance from Trevor Powell and also my first employer 'Big Dave' Hopgood.
2002-2010 saw outings in various different machinery including a partial season in 2004 driving one of Trevor Powell’s single seaters, as well a return to the 140 MPH Superkarts with backing from CH Contracting leading to several race wins and 4th in the 2009 MSA British Superkart Championship.
After 2 years of no racing to start my business, a re-newed partnership with Frome based CH Contracting led to the purchase of a Juno TR250 Sport Prototype to run primarily in the Castle Combe Sports and GT Championship. After only 3 meetings we had our first win.
2013-2016 Saw many front running outings and strong results with the Juno Sports Car as well as a couple of outings in the Ginetta G57 Sports Car and some Tarmac rallies in the MK2 Escort.
The Juno is a lovely looking car and has fast become a crowd favourite! I can assure you it is as good to drive as it is to look at and is an opportunity I never thought would come my way again. I cannot thank Clive and Andy from CH Contracting for their support and enthusiasm as without it quite simply I would not be racing. The car has had some updates over the last couple of years and hopefully can return to the fore in 2017.
